Hello hello peeps, life has been hectic but slowly improving in a way.
Hello hello peeps, life has been hectic but slowly improving in a way.
It's now the spoopy month of October and for me that usually means con crunch season, an attempt at Inktober, binge watching movies and being busy with work related things.
I'm attending MCM London Comic Con in London on the last weekend of this month.
I'm finally getting back to work on Impa from Hyrule Warriors, she's a difficult character but I do like a challenge when it comes to Legend of Zelda cosplays.
Fingers crossed this all goes well amongst everything else going on!
Gaming wise, I've been playing Splatoon 1, Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Love Nikki and Mystic Messenger.
I'm big on mobile gaming so the last three have been my go to for a while. I finished Jumin's route in Mystic Messenger a few weeks ago. I'm a huge fan of the game and been very slow progressing through it since I began playing it in late 2016, but it's one of those games you want to savour the flavour you know?
I've done every route in the "traditional" order you're meant to and have been leaving the legendary 707 for last. Each character has their own personality and from what I've read he is the "true ending" of the game. From what I've gathered playing through everyone's routes so far he is a damaged soul, yet hides behind his great sense of humour & pranking of others so he seems perfectly fine.
Jumin's route is under the "Deep Story" section in the game and Cheritz weren't kidding with that. His route is pretty dark and you have to bring Jumin out of his controlling & possessive ways or else it'll completely backfire and turn lethal for MC. He has a very loving & caring side, which makes him my favourite character in the game so far, plus he's a cat man-he wins an immense amount of bonus points for that alone.
Look. At. Him.
Enough of Cat Daddy, I attended NorCon, a comic convention in Norwich, Norfolk UK the other weekend just on the Saturday and had some great fun with my other half & friends. I bought a bit too much, including the entire ThatGameCompany PS4 Collection. I studied about them in university so to find the game for only £20 I was like...take my money.
I also got to meet Jon Campling, who played a sinister Death Eater in Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows but you may recognise him as King Regis from Final Fantasy 15.
He is such a lovely man in person and very down to Earth. I've been to the Final Fantasy fan con Kupocon a couple times before but trying to meet him there is very difficult due to how busy it can get so to finally meet him at another con where it was much more quieter it was awesome. My boyfriend bought me a Death Eater autograph from him as an early Christmas present and I got a charity selfie with the man himself. I'll have to play FFXV at some point as it's on my list.
Pretty boy road trip!
And of course it's the month of Halloween and the infamous Inktober challenge which I know I won't fully commit to but I've set myself to do just a few ink drawings if I can. I'm decorating my house soon with Halloween gear as we love it alot in this family haha. I've been binge watching Netflix recently including some "creepy" movies such as "Ouija: Origin of Evil" and "Don't Knock Twice".
Personally I enjoyed both, Ouija far more as the plot for "Don't Knock Twice" I felt was very weak.
I'll watch more films when I have another free day, especially witchcraft themed ones. I love October!
It's also the annual Halloween Event in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp so I've been loitering on there to progress through all of the spoopy quests as possible, so far I'm doing good. I think. Plus the Splatoon fortune cookies are in their last days of being available so I've been saving up for those when they appear and if I can afford it.
Over and out!
